Lawrence Jackson School in Guisborough has been running a Chinese Club for up to 12 Year 8 students, currently from 3pm to 4pm on Wednesdays. It's been delivered with great success by my friend Ruth. Unfortunately the present teacher has to move away from the area. The school is looking for a teacher from the local area to continue with the club. The students are all bright and motivated, and they have been doing a fairly light-hearted mixture of language and culture. The school will pay the teacher for his/her time.
